Jim Savage

These photographs are of Jim Savage, who lived in Portal Road, Bishopstoke.              He used to lead a Cadet band, sometimes dressed as a clown, to help raise money for the Carnival/Hall Days.

All photos are donated by Pamela French, (Jim’s Granddaughter).

This is Jim, leading a Cadet band, with Scouts and Cubs, setting off from the old Infants school, for possibly a V.E.Parade? They are walking down Sydney Road.
